What to Expect for Your Appointment
We want to ensure a smooth, stress-free appointment for you and your pets! Below are some resources and guidelines for a successful appointment.
Ready to Book?
Fill out an appointment request form
We will then call you to schedule and pay an appointment deposit.
All appointments require a deposit, which will go toward our house call fee. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit the deposit.
Prior to your appointment
If your pet needs any pre-visit medication at their regular vet, please give it as directed.
We will see how they do for this visit and can adjust doses as needed.
We will reach out to you when we are on our way to your home.
Please confine your pet prior to us arriving, so they are easily accessible by our team.
Cats should be in a bathroom
If a pet cannot be found or handled, we will not refund the deposit
We recommend that your pet skips a meal prior to their visit
We will use plenty of treats to help ease fear, anxiety, and stress during the visit, and a hungry pet will be much more excited about this!
During your appointment
The team will enter your home and chat with you!
We will learn all about your pet’s history and what concerns you may have
Examination of pet, diagnostics, and treatments
We will perform a full physical examination of your pet, and with discussion from you, will perform any diagnostics or treatments needed
Collect payment
We accept cash, check, and credit card payments
After your appointment
Lab results will be called back as they become available (this may take several business days depending on the test)
